Student Ministry

The middle and high school years can be quite the roller coaster! And yet, we know it's a critical period between childhood and adulthood. As a ministry, our goal is to partner with families as their world grows more complex: to continue inviting ALL students to walk together in the calling of Christ, and helping them to grow in wisdom, in stature, in favor with man, and in favor with God.

What to Expect

Student ministry is a place where students can come just as they are, make new friends, and encounter Jesus in a personal and meaningful way. There's no weight of expectation, and there's no pressure to fit in - we just get to submit to all the ways Jesus is already at work in their lives and in their communities.

Throughout the school year, middle and high schoolers gather at Good Shepherd every Sunday evening at 6:30 PM for student-led worship, biblical teaching, small group time with their peers, games, snacks, and plenty more fun to go around. 
Our team would love to walk alongside your family as we pursue Jesus together! Whether it's offering support and prayer, getting people plugged in to serving, looking forward to any faith milestones, or anything in between, we're in your corner.

Fall Ministry Kickoff

With the school year starting up, we're ready to get back to meeting every Sunday night! Join us for a fun-filled kickoff event on September 13th, from 4-6PM at Good Shepherd. In the meantime, be sure to update your information and register for the year ahead!

Confirmation

Students 9th grade and older are invited to take part in this process of theological education, relationship building, and ultimately, an affirmation of baptism. It's one of the most meaningful experiences we offer! More information is available on the registration page.
